This will continue to happen as Nostr grows bigger and bigger. Many different people with different opinions and views. I suppose one could just mute people if they desired so they don't see what they deem as toxic/negative content.
Just mute toxic people. A censorship resistant network will always attract bad people, too. It's part and parcel of living in a free world.
What's changed is people take it more personally now. Most of my #opinions won't be liked by half the #people.. That's always been the same, but in days of yore most of that half would find that normal and think I'm an idiot for disagreeing with them. Now, a much higher percentage of that half will get upset because I'm not thinking the same way as i do. That's what's changed.
Humans are flawed creatures Some of us love them enough to use Any and all ways to speak #truth Tired image

People have forgotten The Rules here.
🫂💜. Sadly this probably will be the case when its grows larger but for now I haven't seen it too much and I am enjoying the experience.
Maybe, but it's not being algorithmically delivered to you and is a byproduct of who you follow. Much easier to control here, no?
It's about time this happy hippo cult phase came to an end. Bad mood is a legitimate feeling. Feelings can't be censored either. Stop cancelling grumpy people! There is no obligation to walk around smiling all the time, like a freakin smily emoji. View quoted note →

Mute, block, cancel I don’t understand this urge.
It was only a matter of time. Individual clients could further exacerbate this as they would then have more traffic
No porn, tho Ive been here only an hour, touch wood? eek. The algorithm is symbiotic reflection... Still I like the idea just gotta figure out how charge my LN/zaps and reward the good comments with satoshis.
