Will have to check the controller when I get back stateside. It’s a 150W panel and the devices themselves pull 44W. The fan - maybe another 2.

Yes! And more importantly, this was a proof of concept that can now be used for other more lucrative DePIN devices.

Best use case for a bitaxe hands down! Nice work!
I can't judge, I run wildly unprofitable servers in my homelab. Sick build!

Great! Green energy orange products ⚡️
I've been thinking a lot lately about how you could put mining equipment into an inverter and just have it mine whenever the batteries are full. But this is cool too. I just wonder how hot that gets, I don't like the idea of the battery and bitaxe being in a box that's in full sun.
You could build a node from the pi 5. Or monero miner or something else. For Bitcoin it would kinda be pointless to build a CPU miner these days
Nice, I hate it. Why they always gotta make these so that the bitaxe is getting cooked from the sun. Hey at least the battery is a LiFo. It won't explode, that's a positive. But I'm sure it would work better if that box wasn't in direct sunlight. View quoted note →
Wonderful! Now, adding meshnetworking to this #bitaxe makes a lot of sense to simplify network connectivity!! And at the same time, this always-on bitaxe could also be relaying #bitchat messages and improving Bluetooth mesh reach. Win-win cc. @calle @npub1ql2z...rxya
