Wow…that’s tough, a natural-disaster that is impossible to stop!… Now imagine you’re a Pale Stinian olive farmer and a neighbouring settler group or occupying forces destroy everything including your olive trees, your home and hurt/take your family… just imagine the level of grief/dispair in that reality…and to think it’s stoppable but goes on and on, funded by US taxpayers 🤷‍♂️… Heartbreaking indeed ❤️‍🩹💔

Terribile, ogni estate si ripete la stessa storia. Ho visto che gli incendi sono arrivati fino a San Cataldo, mia mamma e mia nonna sono ad una ventina di km da lì. Il paese dove sono cresciuto (Ravanusa) se l'è scampata, ma ovviamente sono tutti seduti in pizzo perché adesso è toccato lì, ma ci vuole niente che una bottiglia rotta o un tizzone di sigaretta si mangiano decenni di eredità familiare in alberi. Una cosa che la Sicilia si può vantare è quella di essere forte e sempre in grado di rialzarsi., tante ne ha prese negli ultimi 250 anni ed si è sempre rialzata, piano piano, ma lo ha fatto. Forza compà!
