He’s right.
Bitcoin is inevitable because of game theory.
Nostr is what we make it.

Yep incentives play a bigger role than ideals.
Highly likely that nostr plateaus versus just dying. Those of us on here now that are interacting with each other regularly aren't going anywhere 🫡
Agreed, but i ain't fuckin leavin.
Which is why it’s so important to get the bitcoiners on nostr since the bitcoiners will soon have immense power to manifest Nostr’s success
Yup
Nostr is an environment that isn't really needed. It's up to business to start realizing Bitcoin as a means of exchange can save money. Everything is about money. And how do you make linking a bank account to a wallet, and a wallet to your business. It needs a book titled Running a Bitcoin Business For Dummies
Nostr is inevitable. I will always be here no matter what.
Maybe? Isn't there game theory in NOSTR? Like that's an open question, I don't know the answer to that. And if so, what does it mean?
Well let’s keep building well
People on legacy stuff don't know that I can't even see their stuff when I scan their QR codes. Is it possible to share nostree on legacy social media?
Adoption takes education. I don't have my glasses on so I probably have 10k typos.☺️
Nostr also has some big hurdles... no network effect. Difficult scaling... Incredible privacy issues. Remind me of early bitcoin when everyone thought it was anonymous. Early nostr people think they own their data. When the relays own it. And big data can harvest it ALL.
I would not be surprised if novel uses like the payment network aspect (see getsafebox.app) or something else becomes a bigger use case than "social media".
Well think again. Game Theory is a wank.

Ticktock getting bought by Reid Rasner is going to put up some stiff competition
Indeed 🙌
Even on bitcoin I wouldn't be 100% sure that it's inevitable. Obviously yes for me! But for intellectual correctness I wouldn't feel like putting my hand on the fire. There are too many variants at stake...
He kinda said the same thing about Bitcoin tho. Which make sense.
