I've been using Graphene on a Pixel for a while now and I gotta say I'm quite fond of the OS itself but the hardware kinda feels off, it doesn't feel as good as my old Nokia X30.

It's a unique differentiated for a niche player in a hard market.
There are a decent amount of graphene OS users who are eager for better hardware, so I imagine sales go up.
I hope graphene devs will make sure that the hardware is up to par, seems like the two teams are collaborating well to make it solid.
Motorola also has more capital and better supply chains than a startup like Daylight. It's expensive to keep up with the requirements of graphene os.

Nice points, but also Motorola don't have heavily invested UI skins by the likes of Samsung or Xiaomi, so the cost vs benefit does seems to be favorable to the Moto if the collaboration leads to more sales in unit volume - so its a win-win strategy.
