It's a constant reminder of how much on the left side of the bell curve I am. Humbling and inspiring at same time.
Nostr keeps me honest, reminds me that the best path is not always the easiest.
Sometimes, as I go through life, it's very tempting to stray off path and fall pray to convenience culture.
I check in on nostr, then I remember why I'm here in the first place.

I'm learning about the lightning network at the moment. It took me a while to come around to why Bitcoin is the best, and I'm seeing if that holds true for Nostr's potential as well.

It's helping me escape levels of isolation unnatural for human beings
It's allowing me to develop an actual track record of who I am. Reddit just bans me constantly so people only remember how fucked up I am
from the perspective of my limited network on here people find nostr valuable because:
- they are continually reminded of what they don't know and of their own retardation
- they have been excommunicated from whatsapp friend groups and reddit
- because they can talk about anything
- because they can tell people to shove it
- they can learn about the lightning network
