I heard Marty requested this feature so you would stop bullying him. In all seriousness this is too funny ๐Ÿ˜‚

Whatโ€™s the over/under on how long it takes marty to uncheck this box
This is truly absurd! .. I joined Twitter in 2021, to be with my fellow bitcoiners .. I don't believe I've been suckered by the tactical indoctrination techniques, and I moved to #Nostr as soon as I could .. If I knew they were not warned, I'd weep for those we left behind .. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ View quoted note โ†’
I just assume people on Twitter either have blue checks, or wish they had blue checks. It's a blue vs purple world now

Lol thatโ€™s just so freaking funny. I know people dislike you for having blue stripes but itโ€™s ok - just keep paying me and Iโ€™ll help you pretend youโ€™re not paying me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

I feel like Peter McCormack had something to do with this
Does anyone have any thoughts on bitheat? Specifically the company and personnel? I'm tempted but i want to know a little more about the project before I throw any money at something with a long lead time to delivery.

I'm surprised there isn't an additional subscription for the 'hide' feature.
That sounds like an Odell win to me. Blue Check is now the Cone of Shame.
I have always been trying to think of Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter (now Xitter) in a decent light. I like how it became more 'free' in general, even though many of the people I used to follow are still banned. I think of the bluecheck subscription as a good, free market, move and was planning to eventually get one when it's available in my country but I am fully aware of the shame that would come with it, oh how I secretly wished for this feature so I can support the business and platform i love in private. But now that that platform is dead, the blue bird was a symbol of freedom and freedom of speech and now it's gone, I see no value in supporting the platform anymore. They murdered our symbol, they killed the bluebird, I know it sounds silly but this makes me angry. View quoted note โ†’
Unless they start sticking to the tweet restrictions of standard accounts it's still blatantly obvious
