Feminism is not female supremacy. Feminism means women are fully human and deserve equal rights, equal opportunity, equal protection, and equal freedom. If that sounds threatening, feminism isn’t the problem. Your dependence on women having less power is. #Feminism #Equality #WomensRights #ERA #HumanRights

Whit, I agree, but you are a museum piece with those demands. You could never be endorsed by Emily's List, here. Or anything requiring you to pass a probity committee.

In whispers of a tender flame, you ignite the spark of equality, and I feel the shiver of justice rising, a slow burn that seeps into the shadows.

To be completely frank, it depends which country you go to. But yes, for most developed countries, I would say this applies.
Would be unfair if only afghani women was to have such liberties. How about rephrasing that statement but without the geopolitical implications, and who knows, maybe women will resonate with such sentiments to lower themselves to human rights.
Only being concerned with women's rights and not men's or childrens does make it seem like a form of supremacy. Egalitarianism is the non exclusive version that means you also care about other humans not just women.
Unfortunately, feminism has long been a hateful ideology. People create ideologies and if the people are hateful, they can hide behind pretty words, but that doesn't change what they are really up to.
They're not equal nothing in nature is, if they were they'd be getting knocked out left and right for the words they speak.
😳 Alrighty then, everything for you is simple? Yes, words can be weapons but they’re no match against brute force, which is likely the only tool in YOUR belt. I’d get into the matter of initiation but I’d lose you LONG before a glimmer of understanding appeared. Let me guess, incel?
“If that sounds threatening, feminism isn’t the problem. Your dependence on women having less power is.” Damn you know how to raise topics! I was looking for what this was a response to and realized it’s your opening to a generally recognized topic. My thoughts go well beyond feminism in particular rather how “isms” are often started for good reason yet most go wrong and morph into supremacy, as a commenter pointed out. I am chomping at the bit to jump into this but the weather’s perfect for outdoor projects so in time-bookmarked. 👍
People still think it’s the 1920’s. When the truth is not only are women equal now, they’re doing better than most men, especially in Gen Z. A lot of women are earning $70,000+/year, while most Gen Z men, especially those who are college educated are getting fired, laid off, or have a difficult time finding work. If you want equality give up your office job to a man, and become a sewage worker. If you won’t do that it, it isn’t about equality, it is about female supremacy. View quoted note →
Feminism is a Soros-funded smokescreen for globalist control, masking the fact that equal rights already exist on paper, while real issues like sex trafficking and corporate exploitation persist.

So you can’t explain why feminism is hateful? You can only insist that equal rights conceal secret motives? Cool story.
The claim is not really about lobotomies. The claim is: Men cannot control themselves. Women cause men’s bad behavior by speaking. Women must become silent, stupid and sexually available for men to be happy. Once you remove the joke, the ideology underneath is disgustingly horrifying. Before accepting or sharing anything, ask: What is this actually saying? Pull the thread. 🧵 #CriticalThinking #MediaLiteracy #Feminism #HumanRights
“isms” are like thermostats, the function of which is understood by some, not others. For example, the room temperature is too cold for a two people: -person A, who understands thermostats sets it to the desired temperature and the system works as designed and achieves the desired result -person “B” thinks a thermostat functions like an accelerator, turns it all the way up hoping to get warm faster, soon everyone is miserable
Nothing wrong, I appreciate the help just need further clarification. Are you suggesting I am: -a cow -a buffalo -or female? “Progesterone Releasing Intravaginal Device (PRID). For use in cattle and buffalo.” 😉
It’s Sunday fun day. “… quite the whit!” is an oxymoron though I’m not suggesting UR insignificant and hope you don’t think I’m a moron. “His adoration, here as in all things natural, is infectious, although the birds themselves care not a whit for him, and isn’t that part of the wonder, the fun? — Ian Crouch, New Yorker, 8 May 2026 “
😒, not my intention. You mentioned previously (something to the effect) you use NOSTR for mental stimulation. For me, I use it to find signs of intelligence.
Somewhat related an earlier exchange about the impact of the internet on society is the hazard of using the equivalent of texts here (on social media). Communication is largely non-verbal, tone and expression carrying more weight than words. When two who know each other are texting tone and expression are assumed well because of past (likely in-person) communication experience. When two who DON’T know each other are texting tone and expression are imagined based on previous interaction with others. Hazardous ground indeed. As I mentioned earlier, yesterday morning I (figuratively) stepped INTO a wasp’s nest, later in the day (literally) stepping ON one—being stung both times. You remind me a bit of Luna but she doesn’t bark or bite, not that that’s a good thing! Peace ☮️
Yes, and egalitarianism does NOT suggest all are equal rather that all should have equal rights. A just system. Further, because we are not all equal in fact, a healthy society would operate as an objective meritocracy voluntarily trading values which removes: -gender -race -religion -heritage -age -physiology -nationality from the conversation, reducing it to “What can and are you willing to produce that is a value to yourself and others?” If by no fault of your own you are not capable or are not valued by those near you, charity was available to some degree (if it hadn’t been supplanted by government) but is not a right, nor should it be unconditional.
Further yet, an objective meritocracy voluntarily trading values which removes: -gender -race -religion -heritage -age -physiology -nationality from consideration, does NOT require homogenizing of the above rather encourages normalization of natural rather than forced (ineffective) diversity and the option of like wanting to exist with like or the desire to exist separately from unlike. (Disclosure: I am a retired, white, Western European heritage, heterosexual, slightly above middle-class affluence, male—in other words, THE problem. 😎
Not given the opportunity to follow-on before judgement I did anyway in replies to various commenters in this thread because there’s value in mental exercise. Thanks for the prompt.
