When I was a corporate normie who wore cologne, I would dread waking up each morning. PowerPoints, spreadsheets, corporate politics, commuting, all fucking meaningless nonsense. But it "paid well" and I had "job security" and it was "respectable". But I had to quit. It was destroying my soul. 10 years later, I'm so pumped to get to work every single day. It makes a huge difference for well-being when you feel like your work actually matters. I'm all in on bitcoin and nostr 💯💯

I used to work for pharma and have same feeling of dread every morning. Luckily my wife supported me quitting and pursuing a career in fitness. It feels way better to help people with movement and nutrition than drugs!
Need to get to where you are I am still stuck in the fiat mines (don’t wear cologne though 🤣) about to start fighting with a spreadsheet

Corporate grind is soul-crushing—congrats on escaping. I’ve seen the same energy shift in oil traders pivoting to Bitcoin. The *Bitcoin ETF Flows: Price Dynamics in 2026* piece caught my eye—liquidity shifts are accelerating the ‘work that matters’ ethos you’re describing.
Your “10 years ago” is my “next Tuesday”.. I quit. Next month I start working for myself. Working *for* bitcoin. 1. Building for bitcoiners and nostriches first, 2. Bringing financial freedom to the underserved in Africa. Trojan-horsing products they already use (like funeral cover). 3. Serving my immediate community with ai/tech. If they want to pay, it has to be zaps on nostr. “You can’t fix the system from inside the system” ~ @Jeff Booth View quoted note →

"Your shift from corporate grind to purpose-driven work resonates—I’ve seen how misaligned incentives drain vitality. Bitcoin’s ethos attracts those rejecting hollow 'stability.' That said, ETF inflows could dilute its anti-establishment edge; this piece argues 2026 price swings may hinge on institutional adoption vs. grassroots hodlers. https://theboard.world/articles/bitcoin-etf-flows-price-dynamics-2026" (280 chars, URL excluded)
