My husband is flying back to the U.S. today after having been stuck in Egypt managing a big construction project for a while. He hates long flights, so to amp himself up he randomly decided to stop in Dublin for two days. Just because he hadn’t been there before. So he just went there by himself for no particular reason, stayed in a literal castle hotel, ate steak, drank beer, spent hours walking around seeing all sorts of delightful churches and parks and homes, and then left.

Of course. But he’ll be back today. We considered the possibility of me flying to Dublin to meet him there and then we fly back together, but for two days that’s a heck of a logistics burden. So instead we plan to go to Dublin together in the future sometime.
Careful investing in construction projects in Egypt, sometimes they are pyramid schemes.

My man! I spent last weekend in Bologna on my own just because they host the oldest university in Europe.
Dublin is really nice, but expensive. Unfortunately Ireland is experiencing a LOT of problems with illegal immigration right now, with citizens being targeted by the Gardai for voicing concerns. As a second generation descendant of the ROI born and living in England this saddens me a lot, our governments have failed us and seem to be actively working against us. Starmer has stated he is more aligned with Davos than London. Globalist traitors...
I spend 30months in Ireland, Dublin and visited most of the places, next time try to visit Howth and seek for the tapas bar at the port, really delicious place! Howth is about 20-30min from Dublin and not that far for the AirPort (forgot the distances)
Lyn! We don’t know each other, but this was the right call from your hubby. Some me-time is badly needed! And he did it the right way :)
