Daylight saving time perfectly captures government logic: nothing in reality changes, but we all have to act like it did.

All the so-called ‘anarchists’ cursing everything rn as they beep on their ovens to change it to an hour back because the gov told them 😂

We went back last week. It's amazing how that single hour has screwed up my rhythm!!!
And it's even worse. We supposed to 'save' daylight in summer when days are longest. Exact opposite of any logic whatsoever. Guvmint..

Exactly, and few years ago EU said now countries can remove the daylight saving if they want. But no country want to do that because they are not sure if other countries would do the same. So they don’t change it even though they want to. Stupid mentality, just the same as “Great central banks” in all the countries.

The truth is, they do longer nights because the moon gives you negative energy. And it affects your heart.

I’d like to create an audio funnel that would allow me to capture the chaos and noise of 4 young kids waking this morning right into the bedroom of the childless politicians who support this nonsense.

Classic struggle session.
Meanwhile in China 🇨🇳: No fucking around with daylight savings! Imagine the economic and business advantages a country gains by having a uniform timezone 24/7, 365. This is one of many reasons why the West is getting its ass handed to it. image

Never understood the logic behin the daylight saving
DST is the correct time though. Noon should be at midday. But in the summer, noon is at 1pm, which is wrong. The government should just stick to this time and stop changing it twice a year.
If the goal of our governments were our well-being, they wouldn't mess with our clocks. Daylight saving time is a very useful tool for throwing the population off balance. Some governments find it very convenient to have people out of sync

I think you're being a bit charitable assuming the government has logic whatsoever.

Türkiye doesn’t observe daylight saving time and my teacher friend is really upset about it. She’s been complaining that the day now starts in complete darkness and her students have their first class before dawn, in pitch black winter mornings. View quoted note →
