No one hates you and everyone here loves you, but I love so much that you feel this way. Before I was annoyed at your self hatred, but eventually realized that this is how you fuel your development. So, keep hating and keep building.

You know when you’re trying to be supportive and then somebody else thinks you know stuff so you try and bluff it for a while, but then it gets to difficult, so you have to confess and then you end up looking like an insincere dick that doesn’t have any real empathy?

We dared to complain about @Derek Ross filtering a supposedly decentralized spec app against a preset list of "Nostr experts".
Don't be gaslight into thinking NostrHub.io doesn't work or is centralized by the same people that are always butthurt on this protocol.
You know who they are. It's exhausting.
If you're not a default expert, that's fine. This just means you haven't put in the work and commented on and wrote NIPs from the old GitHub profile. That's where that original expert list came from.
But we should be able to choose our own experts, right? It's an open protocol after all.
How do you become an expert? You can add yourself as an expert in settings. You can even remove the current default list! Then, you can visit the community NIPs section and begin approving anything from your point of view that needs to be approved.

it's apathy or jealously from people that don't get funding, people that see others traveling and aren't able to do it themselves, people seeing relationships and connections being made and aren't able to do it themselves. it's really sad and it's been a theme for three years.
most people just ignore them. most devs cringe about it privately. many laugh and think they're being silly.
it's just dumb and im tired of saying it's not.
