Lol

We’ll never have free and fair elections ever again LOL
Let's fork the vote chain... Lol
Lol, who is up for forking the vote chain? 🤣

They could’ve just talked to Carlos from simple proof…

I fail to see how this is a bad thing? Are y'all seriously such cultists that you're against using blockchain to further protect the electoral system? Good grief...
Or just eliminate the government entirely...
@Evan the trump rug is just getting bigger!
Shitcoin DC lobbyists... Not too hard to imagine unfortunately...
First “technology” listed as part of the solution is X… this isn’t a solution. It’s cronyism.
In addition to being a shitcoiner, Trump is incredibly naive and ignorant. Centralizing election oversight with the Feds even more will not play out as Republicans think it will.
And the choice of crypto
That's a good point. Unless it's open sourced in the open for everyone
@ODELL talked about this
Lining up failure #1–👍🏻
I think we run the risk of over complicating things. An ID should be adequate. I don't know of many legal residents who don't have an ID. Shit I know illegals with IDs.
Tap Bailey to tap Carlos,
@ODELL?
The X part is particularly concerning. Is X going to be the digital identity component? Everyone needs to have a KYC'd X account to vote?
Cool! But Russia has a been having it for years 🤡
Fuck everything about that.
I call bullshit. This stuff is up to the states.
X has gotten fully captured. State owned now.
It's stupid and click bait. The federal government doesn't control elections and how the rules and systems are run. The legislators do. The constitution is quite clear on this.
Can we premine votes? Or how does this work?
They know they don't have the authority, so it's just more pointless talk to excite the base.
Yup.
Government will pre-mine all the votes for you.
Lol
Well politics is a shitcoin…
It’s funny, I joked about Brock Pierce being brought into government. Jokes on me.
I fail to see how making elections impossible to rig via some sort of blockchain implementation is "cronyism".
That's fair but look at what happened in 2020 with the mailing ballots. Can't exactly use an ID to verify those when they're carted in to be counted.
It isn’t - a government entity handing the opportunity run a public to centralized/corporate entities without some sort of evaluation process is cronyism.
I’m all for cryptographically verifiable and immutable elections. I see no good technical reason for the companies pre-selected by the new administration. Conflicts of interest are all over the place.
Cardano is a shitcoin even amongst shitcoins
CARDANO?
Please tell me this is just a exit liquidity pump for Charles and not anything that might happen IRL
I'm sure this is totally real
Clown Worls constantly on the lookout for new jokes
Alright, well, I see some fair argument to be had there, but whether it's a company or a government agency, you're going to have conflicts of interest. In fact, before we federalized everything, things were done through companies mostly. The important part when implementing a technology like this is to make sure that it's an open and verifiable standard. I mean, that's why the whole free and open source movement exists in the first place, so you don't have to trust any entities if you don't want to.
"Now I understand everyone's shit's emotional right now. But I've got a 3 point plan that's going to fix EVERYTHING.
Number 1: We've got this guy Elon.
Number 2: He's got a higher IQ than ANY MAN ALIVE. and
Number 3: He's going to fix EVERYTHING.
I already adressed this.

And don't blaspheme the name of my Lord.
I'll kick your progressive ass into a conservative world view.
TBH this press release smells of scamcoin pandering to shitcoiners.
Bolstering shitcoins was my fear for the "crypto friendly" administration.
