Man, they gotta come up with some better traps for retards like me!
I literally don't have time for any of that, maybe a bit of weed to ease the fact that I don't have enough bitcoin!

So, so true. My non partaking in the above - a couple were past mistakes - makes me seem Amish to a lot of my contemporaries.
Most modern therapy pathologizes normal life. Creates a victim culture. Turns trauma into identity. Labels everyone as some type of mentally ill, when really they just suffer from ordinary misery. Endless self rumination is toxic, which is exactly what therapy does. There’s no morality or guiding principles. I could go on… lol
Hyper independent women who are faux empowered to glorify hustle culture and over-identify with their career status.
"Most" would be the keyword here as none of this applies to my productive and beneficial experiences with therapy. Though I do agree with some of your points, I think labelling therapy as bad and a trap is generalizing and not valid. Therapy can be like a box of chocolates.
in certain contexts, I think it can be beneficial. stereotypical “stoner” lifestyle obviously not something to strive for.

Man, you must love god and all that shit, i am sure!
Video games are a weirdly sacred cow. People don't want to admit that marinating your brain in an engineered fictional world is somehow bad for you
There was a time when I laughed at old people for saying this, but now I agree as an old fart myself. Especially so for games with killing and normalizing violence.

This sounds like you had a bad experience yourself on which you base a vague general statement , or you had no experience at all with makes the statement baseless. There is no “most therapy” as each example of therapy is a unique relationship between the therapist and the person using the therapy. Good therapy aims to undo all the things you listed, and is a useful tool for some aspects of life.
This sounds like you don’t have as good or clear of an understanding of the cultural zeitgeist as I do. Glad you had a good experience in therapy though.

I'm sure it can, depending on how mentally weak you are. I'm 57, been smoking since my teens. Hasn't stopped me from accomplishment, and/or drive. I don't smoke everyday. Just for some down time. All depends on personality. Saying it's just bad period is generalizing everyone into same category.

Weed is physically non addictive. Maybe mentally it can be. And I actually become more social. 🤷
Good. Works differently. Mind I ask if you are more social to a specific class of people (the weeders), or with everyone? In my observation, I have seen otherwise social people to corner mostly with the weeders as it turns to addiction.

Agreed. Most ppl are mentally weak. But it's not the weed that causes that, it's their inability to discipline themselves. All addicts are just constantly trying to escape reality, because they don't have the fortitude to deal with it. That's not a drug problem, it's a mental one.
There's a good chance, if it wasn't for RPG video games - with alternative monetary systems, I would not been open to the idea of Bitcoin. (I'm almost certain of it) Single player campaigns are no different than books. I stopped online gaming 20 years ago as I found it was largely mind rot (unreal tournament 2004)

Regardless if you feel you have a good understanding of the zeitgeist or not, generalisation as a way of seeing the world is rarely helpful long term. Don’t trust (someone else’s opinion), verify (for yourself). 🧘🏻‍♀️
found out that i need mentors and coaches instead of a therapists and psychologists tbh regular ranting and trauma dumping is not good for you need guidance, inspo and tips and tricks on how to succeed
Unfortunately those are always the people least likely to go to therapy lol 😂

Everyone this image is cgi. Trump was never friends with Epstein. Only bill clinton. Conservatives and Christian’s cannot be pedos. Only liberals like Biden and Clinton. Trump is a Christian and never fuked little kids. The democratic hoax machine created this cgi image of Epstein and trump. Trump in the past fucked little kids but after his recent assasination attempt found Jesus and god according to @Jor and @Jerry Loves Freedom
I remember this note from a good man : View quoted note → It seems you came from an extreme to another. You relied on bad people who betrayed you or your faith : "I had a misplaced sense of loyalty and was loyal to the wrong people at times. ", "I made enemies" So now that you changed everything, you don't miss anythings about this 10 years ago guy?
No I don’t miss anything. I dropped the things that no longer served me and I kept the things that did. I don’t consider that extreme. Nor do I consider my original post above “extreme” in any sense.

A tangent to porn for men: spending all your energy trying to get laid constantly. It's like real life porn, hollow, soulless, meaningless.
Okay, I disagree. A bit too simplistic!! Weed isn't bad. I'm also a bit older than you. Now my question to you? ADHD with or without weed. I choose weed, and you know why? Because your brain works a little differently than with hesitant, insecure introverts. When you're busy and very impulsive and communicate easily with everything and everyone, it's very helpful for the people around you that you level out sometimes. Otherwise, it goes way too fast for others. And I have to slow down. Otherwise, it's hard to understand you, and people can't keep up. Without weed, I'd always be on. My brain would be racing for hours. Believe me, without weed, you wouldn't last two hours with me in one room. The first 25 minutes would be fine, but then the ADHD kicks in. And don't give me coffee, because then you'll beg me to smoke one. It slows me down, calms me down, and weed makes you creative. Handy with building, music, and helping people with their problems. And being open to it. Remaining accessible. And being able to tolerate the stimuli. It works perfectly for me! Think a little deeper before reacting or doing something. Like if you have ADHD, I think you function best with a joint instead of pills. What do you think? I'm just an expert by experience. I've had this discussion often in real life with different people, and they always judge. I don't smoke cigarettes, only joints. I don't drink alcohol or anything else. If you make music or are passionate about something, it boosts your strength and mentality to keep going and keep your goal in mind. I have to say, others react very differently to a joint; they fall asleep and become lethargic. I become clear-headed and active. It's not a solution for everyone, but I believe without weed I would never have achieved what I have now. Plus, it's wonderfully relaxing when you have a busy life and come home in the evening. You can intensely enjoy food, the little things, and your family around you. P.S. Don't smoke weed in front of children. I'm curious about your reaction. I never expected to type such a piece of text here, so it's bound to be worth a valuable response, right? I find these topics interesting because no one in my life has ever understood this. And I think if other hyperactive people read this, they might see a connection. Keep doing what you're good at. Don't get addicted. As an old Indian once said to me, she didn't smoke it pure at the medicine man for nothing. P.S. I'm hardly ever sick. Always active. Do you know how nice it is when something can calm you down, so you can also get a good night's sleep? Bitcoin doesn't fix this. But the freedom Bitcoin gives you, combined with your passion, will also be accepted by the people around you for being that weed smoker who's always active and keeps their appointments. It's not the weed, but what kind of character/person smokes it, and how does he handle it? And why does he smoke weed? P.S. My uncle had Parkinson's, so it might run in the family. And he was happy to smoke a joint with me until his last day. I've been smoking it for 30 years now, and I don't judge anyone who does. So now I'm curious about the reactions below.
Not including alcohol just proves how much it’s the alpha trap for all. Accepted, promoted, loved, longed after, relaxing, sophisticated. I quit 2 years ago & like BTC, my life chart when up & to the right.
not including pills and opioids when we have a huge problem with that in America means this is just a list of this i don't like. I smoked multiple times a day everyday in high-school as a coping mechanism for severe depression that was caused by medication, and i disnt end up trapped.
Valid point but I think the pills/opioids comes after the initial trap. At least that’s how I read his post. It’s more about things that are sold as “harmless” or accepted & then BAM; you ded.
Right that’s the point. These things seem innocuous but can quietly ruin you. I didn’t include alcohol because it’s not uniquely modern. Alcohol has been a trap for every generation. That should be well known and understood. Wheras if I even lightly criticize weed people get offended.
Forgot about that. Very valid point. I retract. I’ve seen this hit close to home as well. Heartbreaking addiction via a trusted doctor.
🤔👌🫡🫡🫡 Fuck weed. Shit is a brain killer. And smells like ass. Tried once many moons ago. Knew it wasn’t for me.
It’s the hyperfocus component. That’s why we come off as ultra intense. Other people aren’t used to that level of focus. It’s like we’re going 600 miles an hour and everyone else is going 60.

Never was into sports or betting. Porn and weed are gone. Video games, oh man I love me some gaming. I enjoy all art forms and ludic(play) art is so new and exciting! However, I see old friends wasting away at video games without even breaking the surface of why they like playing games in the first place or how games differ with their storytelling from movies, paintings, music, books, etc. Content creator gamers/streamers have the most shallow interpretation and understanding of games. They completely ignore or are unaware of what the gameplay is doing to reinforce the storytelling. I was about to go into detail with specific examples but I can see my spirit animal losing interest. I’ll just say this: moderation is essential, always think deeply about the media you consume, and what would God approve of or disapprove of?
