Part of the way a tarantula defends itself is it is able to shoot its hairs out and the hairs get into the attackers eyes and in its nostrils. Something to think about all you nostrs.

Now I know more - the hairiest parts of tarantula(are 8 feet) , that their venom is not that toxic to humans and hair can cause iteration. Wold kiss and eat if fried.
Nasty creatures when observing their quite horrific in human perspective nature, apex in adapted nature, a predator but serving mammals. It’s a romantic insect. image
