Carefull you might get a cholesterol.
LFG! I spent a decade as a vegetarian. Also corresponded with working out like a fiend and being in the best (external) shape of my life. It was hard to shift, but ultimately, a decade later, I feel better.
If this is what works for you, cool. But making important life decisions based off social media peer pressure is a rather dangerous thing to do. And please don't glamorize that.

That’s one way to liberate yourself of some sats 💪🏼
And...This is NOT Nostr culture...It's a cult spreading like a virus...or rather like parasites...Not using sound money for sound food, is not very intelligent. But what to expect... 🙄
Just don’t give yourself cancer with E250 sodium nitrite and E252 potassium nitrite. Salt and meat as ingredients only.
Enjoy your meat Joe but please let's not get tribal on Nostr. The only "Nostr culture" is freedom
Oh, that explains a lot. You've always been a sensitive and woke soyboy who blocked people for no apparent reason other than being "too offensive" in their wording even if the tweets didn't concern you personally. Bitcoiners shouldn't censor - they should engage or just shut up. image

I’m fucking around and finding out :) My gf has really fancy scales and I’m home for two weeks straight for the first time in ages so I thought I’d do a 2 week experiment and track it. Re: glamorising. Thank you but this is a selfie I took a selfie at Lidl lol 😂

Joe, these Lidl products are full of nitrates. Take care and spend a few more sats on real shit.
Highly recommend, for taste, your health and actually knowing how animals were treated. (Been vegan 10+ years till listening to bunch of bitcoiners)
that's one of my favorite things about this place is that I can relax into being authentically me in my 3+ years now carnivore journey and I am amongst many like minds plus some of the top best well known doctors now being part of the Nostr fam who evangelizing this movement on the interwebs.
Good point. I'll just enjoy my Nostr bubble while it lasts
I will be interested to hear your experience of a carnivore diet. As a cat, I'm obviously a big fan. But if i was a human I would say that human dentition, gut morphology and gut microbiome indicate that humans evolved on an omnivorous diet. I'm particularly interested in how a diet low in fibre will sffect....you know.....when you need to use the sandbox.

Seems you are in Portugal where you can access great Bacalhau and excellent meat from the market. Shame on Lidl!

Many such cases
Nice job!! You'll start to feel better very soon. I've had comments on how healthy I looked while on carnivore. I'm on my third annual foray into the carnivore lifestyle. Perhaps this year I can make it last past Easter. I like feeling better and losing aches and pains. The hard part was the draw to go back to eating the bad or not-so-good things I ate prior, but each year gets a little better. Way to go!!
I lost 40 lbs going keto for like, 9 months, but did spike my blood pressure and cholesterol pretty seriously (even admitting that my HDL:LDL was reasonable, it wasn't great having to have the 50th percentile represented over on the left size of my graph...). Not to dissuade you, just to point out, maybe don't make protein powder pudding using heavy cream on a daily basis like I did. Stuck sort of crashing back to "try not to have a heart attack within the next 2 years" in every way I can -- hopefully without direct medication but we'll see if that's necessary. Make sure to chow down on olive/avocado oil, fish, and some good sources of fiber. And then yea...enjoy some beef hearts.
@TheBeave, did you experience any bark withdrawal symptoms?

I switched from being vegan to carnivore and I feel better now. No problems with gut bacteria or any other stuff. Actually it's better than when I was vegan...

And if you compare the gut of a bull with ours you quickly realize that even if the bull is physically stronger, we're made to eat it 🤷‍♂️
