Nuance. There is a threshold above which your allocation should *not* be mostly bitcoin, and you should start allocating to your "boomer book." Then there is a boomer book threshold above which you should start allocating mostly to bitcoin again.
Yeah this video was the worst advice imaginable. Imagine encouraging a young person to be the HOLDER of fiat denominated debt and not the recipient. That's like keeping your money in cash in a dry paper trash bag next to your collections of matches stored underneath your stone sanding blocks.
damn that was awkward. he just smiles through after he says Bitcoin shouldn't be a major part of a portfolio.
True "Bitcoin shouldnt be a significant part of ones investment portfolio." I partially agree with the guy.. Bitcoin is savings, not an investment. It only has investment aspects due to information assymetry and fiat inflation pressure. Its nice to finally have a store of value in the modern age that isnt based on corruption, cantillionaire pressures, and the like from monetary policy manipulation

Only someone who doesnt understand bitcoin enough will say that. When you fall into the bitcoin rabbit hole and keep learning about it, you will reach a point where it klicks and then you will understand that "diversify" dont make any sense. The hardest money will always win. Just a matter of blocks.
I'll never forget when I gave up the normie wisdom of "Diversify." I divested any and all shitcoins, and looked for ways to convert other assets to Bitcoin. Shitcoins, Stonks, and Bonds don't fool me anymore. But I repeat myself.
Financial advisors and wealth managers hate this one simple trick.
It looks to me like Kelly has some bitcoin or is about to. I'm loving the shift in how it's being talked about. The smarmy financial advisor is becoming irrelevant.
For all you maxis here, if we all go 100% bitcoin, that means that all the real world stuff will be owned by somebody else. If everyone is just bitcoin, who owns all that stuff? So clearly there should be some nuance beyond all in bitcoin forever
I also agree somewhat, for me personally I think there should be thought given to diversity. There are pros and cons to it and unfortunately a lot of people in the world will likely not be able to diversify.

Back when I was on TV in the 60’s, I wish I could have been shilling 100% BTC allocation to the kids, unlike this wuss. Live for something!
I look at it this way: Bitcoin takes off: high probability, reward ~30x Bitcoin fails for some reason: low probability, reward 0x With a 100% allocation I might get rekt. While something like a 50% allocation makes me happy whatever happens.
multiple offspring and the eldest stack autonomously while I stack for the younglings. There is no alternative for generational wealth for digital natives. Last time I checked you couldn't buy £10 of land per week.
Puedes tener diferentes monedas pero tus ahorros tienen que ser 100% en #bitcoin

That smile and awkward pause looking back and forth nervously is absolutely gold...err... absolutely Bitcoin 😀 That's the look you give when you're about to get your teeth kicked in.

Once you got it you can buy with more and more conviction 👍🏻
I understand many are all in in #bitcoin and I respect that ..but for me I think 30: 30 : 30 portfolio makes sense ! 30 % #bitcoin - 30 % #gold - 30 % VTSAX (or VTI) 10 % cash or things I really want to support - eg $MSTR , $MARA What is your strategy ? #askNostr View quoted note →
The default is you are always given bad information by main stream media and bankers…….. I tend to do exactly the opposite of what they tell me and I am better off for it….. This is true for wealth, health and every aspect of your life……..
In 2017 at the end of the block size wars, I discovered #bitcoin, and my employer at the time had a retarded moment where they decided they wanted lots of people to waste lots of time being innovative so that their great ideas could then all be thrown in the trash and forgotten. My contribution was a proposal for them to adopt #Bitcoin, and a made a solid argument. The finance manager I was trying to work with eventually asked me "would you want to be paid in Bitcoin?" I said yeah, maybe. I pushed the idea for a bit more but of course nothing happened. When it reaches #100k, I'm going to find him and some other folks on LinkedIn, and remind them of the missed opportunity 😅😅 #plebs #plebchain #grownostr
