Some dudes are just incapable of learning.
Bitcoin is the breakthrough in physics nobody understands, and its empirical proof falsifies entire fields of modern investment.
Fiat is incapable of measuring Bitcoin’s success.
Bitcoiners think that because people have been wrong about Bitcoin in the past, that Bitcoin can never fail so long as people fade it. It's magical thinking, but also good fun.
Its kind of like Peter Schiff and financial crises.
The joke goes like this: "Peter Schiff has predicted 15 of the last 2 crises."
Everyone laughs at Peter Schiff, and then independent of what Peter says, there is an actual financial crisis. Peter takes credit and does the rounds in the media until everyone puts together he is a crank who got lucky, and then he fades into the background.
TLDR; Peter Schiff predicting doom is not protection against doom.
