I've NEVER used Spotify. When they first launched, they were not available in the USA, so I said fuck that and went full Google Music.

I dug up my old iPod that I got in 2005, flash modded it and I've been using for like 2 months, and could not be happier. I've copied all of the music I own, that I bought from bandcamp, qobuz etc. and my ripped CDs into it. After seeing this, I'm happy that I did the right choice to cancel my Spotify subscription back then. Also, if I ever need streaming, I could stream my own music using a free server software such as Navidrome etc.

Old news, but I've been dealing with this off and on for a couple years and ive been locked out since about late may early june, I try once a week or so. Part of a group plan so I'm going to have to get my playlists off and tell the group I'm not paying for it.
