Is that winning?
I'm assuming it's available in a lot more places than Github?
Thanks for the free publicity India Government! 🙏
What will be the reaction?
They claim that India is a “democracy”.
Can it be then, that the Indian people voted for authoritarian measures for their government? Or is democracy just a psyop and a lie?
Incredible
Democracy is incredible
Trying to stop the unstoppable
Shame. Seems daft to leave it exclusively on a centralised repository.
seems like we got indian feds also trying to community note jacks post on X, how exactly do they even plan to ban bluetooth mesh communications? oh wait they cant

WTF
Democracy is retarded
Reads like an ad for Bitchat.
So I guess the question here is what does GitHub do. I assume this isn't the first time they got something like this.
congrats 😂👌
Honestly, bitchat's functionality aside, I see it more as a tool for voluntary CIA lackeys during colour revolutions rather than a tool for free communication.
I'd see LoRa as such due to its geographical range, even if its performance is limited, but I really don't see any realistic use for bitchat outside of what might interest the CIA for carrying out coups in other people's countries...
"Forces" or trying to force? Was this letter sent to the permissionlesstech organization or to Github?
github
Ok, so Trump just needs to treat this as an act of war by India against a US company :-)
Fair enough, makes more sense than it only being available in one place. What other apps incorporate it atm? I'm wondering how they've gone about it.
How about nostr apps? Too reliant on dns?
check out the big brain on gov of india
Why? How much will he get paid for it?
Interoperability witg LoRa is not far off I imagine.
Yes it is. 😊
They're afraid
they know it works
But we need the source code to be safe.
@npub15qyd...yejr how can we add repository clones to ngit?
"Bitchat enables anonymous communication without mandatory user registration, phone number verification, or centralized logging of communications."
You mean like a... voice does?

Mexico will pay for it.
Good thing the community already fixed this with Nsite, and ngit. So fuccum 🤷🏾♂️
Winning
@jack is off the hook since he sold the headache to Elon and cockroaches got smarter not use X that way.
now comes centralized microsoft distribution site GITFUCK
bitchat = NOT a freedom tech UNLESS users learn alternate way first get it n locally distribute in mesh
How prestigious...
"significantly impedes interception, attribution, and investigation by law enforcement agencies"
Someone's doing the right thing.
You need iron for LoRa, so far I know no LoRa handheld device
Yep. ‘Coming to a municipality near you’

If only there was some sly roundabout way around this
Why can a nation force an internet website to take down anything? This used to be beyond the nation's reach. The answer is of course, that these website owners complied with sharing their banking identity and registering their businesses. IDIOTS..
Microsoft doesn't want to lose access to India as a market.
Apparently this is related to the controversy and protests concerning an exam from June:
They just come right out and say it
But then said bitchat is cloned a 1000 times right ? Uncensorable !
Thank you India for helping us by highlighting ways we could improve the decentralization of the system.
Fuck that was hilarious
That should become a meme whenever someone needs an excuse for something
The absolute irony of this as the Indian Goveris one of the most useless and incompetent on earth
It's not the app which is at stake here, but the source code.
So good. Fresh.
I was already a believer. They don't have to sell it to me.
LocalSend let's you share installed Android APKs to other Android phones over a local WiFi connection.
well.. this is a nicely decorated with words of a document for sure but what is the regulated punishment if github didnt comply within 3 hours?
Lies
Most likely coordinating this psyop with the Indian government so that Indians download bitchat and it gives the Indian government a backdoor into their devices and helps them track people
No it's a psyop and it's crazy how many of you are retarded enough to support the NSA and CIA just because India is doing a psyop to trick people into downloading it
Don't even need to coordinate with the government. They are publicly baiting governments into banning it and these retard Indians fell for the bait. Every shitty protest in the world, (some straight up CIA ops), they bot a little activity into that geohash, then hit up all their journalist connects who report "protestors in ___ coordinating on bitchat" then they go out and proclaim "governments are falling because of our app" to bait governments to push back against it.
It has nothing to do with nostr. It might generate keypairs, but there is no persistent identity that that keypair enables, they don't even verify signatures. It trusts the relays and other users to only send them valid events. The one cool feature is the mesh messaging, but that hasn't been used anywhere except bitcoin conferences.
<Laughs in Alanis>
would be a real shame if India would also ban
@npub1yjxe...l9d0
The app also enables offline communications during natural disasters and can save lives.
Surely the government of India wants to save its citizens lives, right… right?
