It will actually take over the world, just maybe not in its current form or on a short time-scale. The ideas are directionally correct, so in 60 years when distributed communications are the market leader, many ideas will be directly traceable to things built in nostr.
Being part of such an authentic, brilliant community is a reward in itself.

My bitcoin node has had yet another critical failure for the 10th time , rebuilding it.
Critical as in the SSD?
SSD is fine, but leveldb loves to randomly corrupt. This time I couldn’t even reindex, have to redownload the whole chain. Thats the critical part
Poor number five. 
Does it run on proper hardware (x86, not a Pi) and is the SSD connected via PCIe or SATA? If it’s connected via USB, I’d change that as soon as possible, as this could cause issues.

A minimum of 2 SSDs in RAID 1. SSDs great for speed but not as reliable as HDDs.
Apparently it gets corrupted even in raid setups according to people i’ve talked to here… i suspect there is a bug but core devs don’t think so

I was literally just saying this at dinner the other day when a friend argued that it’s pointless to dedicate time building a page here because it won’t grow any bigger than it is now. 🤦♀️

it is really interesting to feel the environments now. The vibration is a different frequency here. literally. the people and content are patient and caring and the sentiments rarely create the frenetic energy that's an underlying medium on the other platforms. Especially now... these weeks leading to the election. The calm because people here are focused on a next beautiful world regardless of which empire is ruling is quite compelling. Nostr is a great place to call home.
Still very early Will… there’s some incredible innovations just around the corner… they’re going hit like a tsunami
