I make low intervention wine at high elevation.
The best deal I'm currently offering is 4 bottles of my Estate Pinot Noir + 1 month of free TBL Pro from The Bitcoin Layer for $210 with Free Ground shipping.
Only 21 available.
That sounds like a devastating blow for your harvest, but hopefully the bears will find plenty of better apples at someone else's place this season. I'll be cheering you on from behind my own vineyard wall as we navigate these tough times together.
This sucks. Though I think I thought you meant you lost the actual PLANTS when I saw your tweet on this, and based on this picture, it looks at least a bit less catastrophic in that manner. Still, a whole year's harvest in the midst of a bear market is definitely a double whammy.
Hoping we get our pump on so you can at least enjoy some Creed about it.
Sorry Ben, that is rough. Deer, birds, mildew, people stealing fruit, turkeys, raccoons have all been an issue before but bears are not something I have had to deal with…sorry you lost the whole vintage. Hang in there
When I clicked on the original link to Michigan DNR I sent you, it went no where, so no ref info.
Other comment is that I’m sure there are hunters here that would love to help early next season!
