I was wondering the same thing. I looked at some recent photos and it does look like the pedestal was moved since the installation last October. The original photos have Satoshi’s back to the lake, and the newer ones have trees behind the statue.
Do you know if it is the same location?
It looks like it’s the same park, but the statue appears to have been moved to a new spot at some point.
