Only Apple's stores in China should be adjusted to remove all American apps. CCP requires Apple to remove the U.S. APP and not allow Chinese to download the U.S. APP with a Chinese ID. Chinese can register an U.S. ID to download the U.S. APP, which has no effect. Chinese users basically have two IDs, one American ID and one Chinese ID.
Damus software also uses the US ID to use and log in. Apple ID in China can't use Damus. Blocked by an evil firewall.

I am torn. They’re not plagued with the same issues that we are socially. They appear to have had a very successful nation for a very long time. Despite government changes. In the face of their ethical issues, I’d almost prefer them over my kid being taught about castration in schools, gender identity and vaccination. They have a homogenous society, low crime and tons of wealth. It’s not as simple as “china bad”.
