It means we would be able to see and follow profiles on Bluesky, and they would be able to see and follow profiles on Nostr. In theory we would not need a bluesky account ourselves, which is how I've seen it work with Mastadon and other services on the Federated network. Basically it would be a 'giant sucking sound' as people realize that Nostr posting is so much better and that all social media roads lead to Nostr.

I created an account on there for soccer related purposes and Bluesky is as lame AF.
Tempting, but it really depends on how the bridge is built. I don't want to have to create a Bluesky account myself, but I wouldn't mind being able to see posts and follow profiles from there if there are people worth following.
As far as the number of people commenting concerns about Bluesky being too 'left leaning', I have to ask if you really understand what Nostr is and why it exists. Nostr is the social media protocol platform for the global civilization that we are building. It's not a silo where we only see the posts and profiles that agree with us. Should Bitcoin also only be allowed to be owned and controlled by the far right? Come on, we're better than that. At least I hope.
