Not v30 I run knots, mine with ocean on my own datum server.
Knots for now. Luke wants CTV and was funded by Dorsey. Doesn't Dorsey fund Core too? sus Let's get another full implementation and then some

Sticking with old core until another compelling option is available
Old school Core or Knots. Theres a handful of old school bitcoiners that have an incentive to increase the op_return limits and a bunch of people that have no idea but like said bitcoiners and are caught in the middle. —Its a classic “Chesterson’s Fence “ analogy. Maybe it doesn’t do anything but thats no reason to tear it down. 👊🏻🧡🍻 ⚡️⚡️⚡️reposts that reply⚡️⚡️⚡️
I’m still running 28… but at this point I don’t see the reason to switch to knots. I’d rather run core 30 which I’ll probably update to soon I think people have been misled about the argument between knots and core

I mean Knots can evolve into a team structure to have multiple maintainers just like Core?

I would hope so.

Smart to wait a while. Hopefully it's nothing.
No idea. Just made a basic analysis. The one of him facing the nameless faces representing #Satoshi #Nakamoto is probably my favorite. To dishonor the memory & gift of #Bitcoin … #Satoshi and what they did will always be judged by the #blockchain ( hence the judge )
Bitcoin core owns 95% Bitcoin knots is less than 1 % but that doesn’t matter Luke owns #knots & if when he leaves ( humans die after all ) so would knots. It’s not logical choice based solely on him being the one owner. Beyond that: Luke has used misinformation to guide his career & get others to buy off on knots. 🪢 IF people read the #Satoshi #white #paper & understood the #proofofwork & #scalability it’s already shown this would be a non-issue. Note, many in #core ( or early #btc adopters don’t speak online ) are already living their best lives. #knots from my view is just another form of exploitation… But hey, you don’t have to trust me … trust #Satoshi as their words already proved all that. 😂🤙✨
Yes … Bitcoin core is known to be full of scammers 😂😂😂 ALL 95% of them 😂 But 🌹definitely 💯 some are #shittalkers Will give you that. image

Anything not tied to Luke Jr.
This may be. FFS 🙈 I could actually make a reasonable case why knots could be good but they’re all such dumb unreasonable jerks. I’m not gonna do it for them. Let them bury their selves.
I'm hoping we'll get a stronger bitcoin out of this. I care less about the specific arguments on either side than that there's a real possibility that bitcoin will actually look like a protocol in the future. A protocol is agnostic about specific clients. I don't think our work is done in this fight until we have at least 5 clients with credible node share each.
Stated my goals clearly earlier 1. Bitcoin standard as currency or we already failed ( cause we have IMO in #USA ) 2. 99% rise and demand their freedoms from top 1% Too simple but definitely idealistic
They can’t argue their case. Which is funny if I’m the only one speaking 🗣️ for core on here. Why? Cause the rest know it’s a useless argument 😂😂😂

I'd imagine at some point he's got no choice but to pull in another maintainer or something. >> but this is maintainer status << So... it's gotta be someone who can impress Luke, line up with Knots, and actually know Core deep >> if it's even possible to convince Luke they qualify LOL

Bitcoin Knots because Core devs act in bad faith. They censored Bitcoin contributes just for mentioning CItrea, they attacked Bitcoin Knots node runners and they are absolutely dishonest about filters.

1. Majority of Cored devs ALLOWED SPAM on Bitcoin by rejcting a PR that fixes it (see the NACKers). 2. Those exact Core devs tell you that SPAM is ALREDY POSSIBLE on Bitcoin. 3. This ladies and gentelmen is what bad actors do. 4. Lets not forget the corruption money too from Citrea, Chainway Labs, Chaincode etc. with bad actors like Jameson Lopp, Casey Radamor and other shitcoiners. Their fiat hate greed does not allign with Bitcoin ethos. 5. Thank God that there are good devs at Core and especially Knots but unfortunatelly at the moment they are minority. 6. Running Bitcoin Knots counteracts the internal attack on Bitcoin by the bad actor Core devs. That is why they are so butthurt about Bitcoin Knots. View quoted note → image View quoted note →

#knots vs #core IF I were a federal government or ultra wealthy & I wanted to keep #bitcoin #standard from adoption in the #USA … I would #create something like #knots Anything that keeps the 99% from uniting against tyranny rewards the ultra wealthy. Always has. So it’s possible #knots is just a #government #op of some who believe in an #authoritarian #ideology or #world #leader it’s also possible it’s a #psyop or #narrative #warfare from any country or it could be any of the ones below ⬇️ or the #Silicon #Valley #mob of #oligarchs Does it matter to the 99% ? It should. No matter to me. I’ve never had a decent president in my life. That last picture I can’t confirm. But do like laughing at bald #Musk 😂😂😂 View quoted note →

core v30 When my bitaxe arrives (thanks @average_bitcoiner ) I will look into mining with Ocean or figure out how to translate/proxy to stratum v2.

I'll keep an open mind. It’s not that hard to just not merge a contentious change. Core is basically asking for Knots to be relevant ... and if I’m Luke, I’d take advantage of that. Maybe Core can’t be opinionated as the reference, fine. But Knots is where some/most Bitcoiners line up. And like Tomer said, this is just the reality now ... Knots is here to stay if Core won’t listen. Core’s being questioned, and rightfully so.
Its not about beating them. Its better to have two dev teams creating software. It decentralizes the network. More the merrier should be the ethos. The arguments arise from the disingenuousness of their argument. As I see it, 3.0 is profiting from spam -or attempting to. Fine let them. Its an open protocol. My gripe is only with the bullshit argument they put forward. 🧡👊🏻🍻
Thanks for always speaking to me like I’m 6. Genuinely. 🫂🤗 “It’s not about beating them. “ Good answer, friend. That’s not how the argument was presented to me. When i did research others were basically saying that it was knots against core.” “ It’s better to have two dev teams creating software. It decentralizes the network. More the merrier should be the ethos. “ Cool 😎 but they don’t yet have the #POW nor the time factor #Bitcoin currrently has. Right? The arguments arise from the disingenuousness of their argument. Fax 📠 “As I see it, 3.0 is profiting from spam -or attempting to. Fine let them. It’s an open protocol. “ Here we go. 😂😂😂 “My gripe is only with the bullshit argument they put forward. 🧡👊🏻🍻” Okay big brain 🧠 how can we use your tradfi experience to take down wallstreet? I said what I said 😂✨😎
Its not about beating them. -Knots doesn’t care about core. -Core doesn’t like knots and it’s obvious when you see the ad hominem attacks. It’s all good. Everything is fine. The mere fact that Knots grew as quickly as it did shows a great immune response that Bitcoin is gonna be fine. Leave it at that lets all sing Kumbaya
debate blown out of proportion, designed to fracture the community. Especially once people get labeled as "pdf" for supporting one over the other, you can be sure it's a psyop. It's one of the oldest tricks
Knots. And after examining many posts and threads in nostr, sentiment wise, I see overall Knots has more supporters. I loved the earlier comment about going back to pre-Inscriptions era. Things have gone downhill since then.

Core 29.1 for now. Will eventually go to v30 core.
Knots for sure. Nobody wants to host a global image server for anyone with a connection and ill will.
Nobody is forcing anyone to update, old versions of Core still work while those at the cusp of updates work out which updates are better than others. Knots and Core both have said things I agree with, I'll let consensus emerge before jumping to any conclusions.
Luke is actively supporting and encouraging more implementations. 100% Knots is not the end goal. Knots is the bomb shelter we’re all squeezing into until we rebuild.
Knots and its not even about the OP Return. Its because CORE retards are greedy shitcoiners and super arrogant on the top of it.
I think it's an improved version, like all the previous ones. I don't think anything has changed with regard to the jpgs. Or at least you can configure it to be that way.
The entire world we puppets to ultra wealth. I accepted that in 1983 and made a plan. No offense taken. Peace ☮️
