They're screwed for awhile, for sure. Stay out of cities. Woke libtard cesspools.
I’m trapped in a city too. They all have their ups and downs just stay humble and stack sats. SF has gone through many changes over the 21 years I’ve been here.

Place freaks me out. Insanity.
It won’t turn around. Non-Americans who have been in NYC for 5 years or less were mandani’s chief demographic. They won’t relinquish their conquest once they’ve gained it. It will require a reconquista.
"Rorschach's Journal: October 12th, 1985 Saw a Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper -- "No."

Bit dramatic. This sounds like All the calls I have seen over the past decade that California is cooked which mostly seem to come from backwater poors who spend too much time online. California continues to be a dominate force and continues to attract people with ability and intelligence.

Real change demands grit - staying, debating, building coalitions and not fleeing to finger point from afar. If Bitcoiners can HODL through crashes, why not HODL your City? Cowards run, legends reform
No. It’s fine. It’s the first necessary step of the cleansing of the zionist filth that’s infected it for generations. Be happy.

You can't fight a government that will tax you into oblivion e. g. or id they go full blown totalitarian on their citizens including the military. "Go where you're treated the best" Nomad Capitalist
DeBlasio seems like a good preview for what it would look like? As someone who holds more interest in urbanism than perhaps the "modal" Nostrich, I'm very interested to see how this all turns out. The question for how to manage the Great American Cities in the 21st century is both a pressing and fascinating problem. Free buses and State-run grocery stories seem like pretty bad ideas to me. Lack of fare enforcement pushes transit systems that much closer to "roving homeless shelters"... At least that's been the experience in Los Angeles, where they've kind of gone the opposite direction in installing more and better fare gates.

The real power is always in the hands of the people, as soon as you start believing that the government just has inherent power without the populace you have given up your power to others that will decide your fate. Running away only works until there is no place left to run to, what then?

Fuck off. Theyve been saying that about nyc afer every election as long as Ive been alive
But it was definitely true all the other times. NYC keeps having shitty mayors and getting worse. Zohran Mamdani could be the first good one, we'll see
NYC is bound to get better under Zohran Mamdani. Maybe not because of him, but at least because of the voters that roundly rejected Cuomo this time.

Nothing ever happens during this timeline. Believing this is a psyop within a psyop.
All cities are cooked, they have all become college and hospital towns because human beings don’t need to muster near ports anymore.

“When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - When you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - When you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you - When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - You may know that your society is doomed”
NYC has been a socialist city-state for at least a hundred years or more. It’s hard to think of anything that hasn’t been regulated, manipulated or outright controlled by the city and its ever-sprawling bueracracy.

It’s a shame. They will get what they voted for. Citizens are feeling the broken money problems but turning to the wrong solutions.
Born here, grew up here… you haven’t been living here for 25 years so maybe talk about things that you can evaluate. 👊🏼

I agree that the real power is in the hands of the people. You only need a minority the overthrow the government, but that is becoming increasingly difficult and very dangerous. This minority seems to be getting smaller, depending on your location. For the EU, e. g., I see that as a lost cause. It's being destroyed on all sides, all citizens will be taxed into oblivion, pensions robbed, blocking capital from moving it outside the EU and in the end preventing citizens from leaving the EU. That is how I see EU's downfall. You van try to "fix" or do some stuff, but it would not matter. Protecting your capital and your freedom by leaving is the best option I see.

This is why cryptography and bitcoin are so powerful, even people who are oppressed by their governments can use anonymous communications and bitcoin to build communities completely out of reach for any governments. That is the power I am talking about. There is no government who could stop it, but it requires people to educate themselves and be technically capable of doing all these things without creating weak points that the government can exploit. Only a select few will be able to do it if we don’t try to spread the knowledge

Yes, very true. Building Bitcoin communities where people exchange goods and services outside of government control is very powerful. But as governments debt' spikes, you will be taxed increasingly. This is already too much. At some point taxes will be unaffordable. And that is only taxes. You also got the digital euro, law that criminalizes almost everything, war economy.

possible scenario with increased probability now. NYC becomes a haven for illegals, esp muslim, and criminals flocking to feast on the buffet of benefits and crime. more lawlessness, open air drug markets, defecating on the streets, repeat offenders released with no consequence. watch some videos online of San Fran homeless for a preview. clear to me that Soros and the globalists want to destroy the west and arent shy about it...
I'm not a fan of top-down statism/authoritarian/fiatism (basically all politicians in the current model) and thus I really don't like this guy at all (I actually think this guy is incredible fake and useless) but maybe some of the stuff he does can also start some more debates about UBI and cooperative models. Because in my view there's value in the cooperative model and also in more egalitarian money (UBI), along with Bitcoin and thus when it's voluntaryist of course (which this dude is definitely not, no politician really is). But the coop model is legit and can be economically very useful for both the coop people and the public. For example Switzerland has Migros one of the largest cooperatives in the world and it works pretty well for everyone. I think the libertarian right can definitely learn from some of those ideas. Not all ideas from the left are bad. All the rest this guy represents is though. He's definitely woke to the bones...

When you New Yorkers move, just stay out of Texas, Florida and Tennessee. I hear Mississippi needs some population growth.
My group has been saying since 9/11 that the Jews would insert a Muslim into power to hopefully collapse the US. Then 7 years later the joos implanted Obama and their plan has been working swimmingly since. The Muslim won because he was backed by Soros and got 33% of the Jew vote. They hate each other…but you know who they hate even more? White western free Christian countries. Once the west has fallen due to mass migration from the M.E. (By joos forcing wars with all neighboring countries) to white western nations and convince the white populace that the Muslims are the issue…ALL of the Jews will exit stage right, right on back to Israel.

I’d like to see some New Yorkers post their current quality of life to compare a couple years down the road. Affordability (rent + everyday expenses and what those expenses are), daily traffic, feeling of safety, etc. that his plans will impact.
1. Everyone in NYC is above average that’s why we don’t want to live in the middle of nothing like you Kendy. 2. Only you can’t afford the rent here cuz your a loser. 3. You probably live with homeless in your cardboard box or around your block worse yet with homeless snakes 🐍 cuz you are in the middle of a swamp most likely running a single relay 4. Yeah there’s criminals here don’t come yerrr 5. Overdose is a problem in all of US probably worse where you are per capita 6, 7 again get good and get a better quality of life I’m sorry for you and your whole generation for not being able to do anything impactful to claim a place in a first tier city

whats next would be an absolute dystopia of digital control. if i had totalitarian aims i would want to destroy any remaining vestiges of freedom, democracy and Christianity. it seems like an all out spiritual war with evil intent. how else do you explain what we are seeing in Europe? digital ids, cbdcs, net zero, replacement migration, arresting people for social posts, war with Russua. does it seem like a pro human agenda ? are they telling you to be fruitful and multiply or the opposite ?
I’ll never meet anyone who cares about your city as much as this man cares about another man’s city. How about you actually make your city better instead of crying about someone else’s. Absolute definition of a keyboard loser
