Thanks Matthew. I zapped you 100zaps; lmk if you got it
Today I switched to Bitcoin Knots. Works perfectly. Absolute easy switch. 1. Bakcup your wallets 2. Stop Core 3. Start Bitcoin Knots - works flawlessly Bitcoin Core developers turn malicius against the whole #Bitcoin community. The big qustion is why? Why are they acting maliciusly? What is the root cause? Have they been corrupted from companies, banks, governments?
Can you explain (to a mere mortal) the perceived need to increase the data size of OP_Return when for years people have been uploading jpegs using inscriptions? Couldn’t users who want to add data simply use the same inscription block space and leave OP_Return as is? (I’m not technical so this is a genuine, not rhetorical, question.)
Thanks @Matthew Kratter for the good content, as usual. This whole story is not good for the credibility of the community. I am considering switching to Knots because of all this. Does anyone know if when I have the chain synced with Knots if I can just keep using my Lightning node but through Knots? Or do I have to reinstall my Lightning node with Alby Hub and create channels again? #asknostr

Thank you! @Matthew Kratter Remember to copy and paste your youtube post description wirh you Nostr post too. Thanks!
Absolutely awful that you are encouraging your viewers to stop donating to OpenSats and HRF if they fund certain developers that you disagree with. Both organizations are great and here you are trying to continue cancel culture over an issue that is more noise than anything really meaningful. As Odell says it i's the way the discussion has unfolded that's more disturbing than the acutal issue being discussed.
Ok, thanks for your reply, I'll take a look at it all and make my decision soon. Strange times again

This is inflaming clickbait. What is most absurd to me, is that influencers love to paint us as this closed, shadowy group, when pretty much the opposite is true. Many of us are easy to interact with, constantly share what is going, spend hundreds, if not thousands of hours on pretty much every forum out there diligently answering questions, and try their best to do so next to extremely demanding engineering work. You can literally dm, or email most us, and are likely to receive an answer from at least someone. We are not some unapproachable corp where you get canned responses through their PR dept. There is one single place we moderate non-technical disiscussion, which is literally our workbench. We'd get even less done if we wouldn't. Calling that "attacking Bitcoin" is just asinine.

He's one guy, who happened to open the currently controversial PR. I, and many other developers, don't share this opinion.
I am pleased to hear that you and others don't share this opinion. For me that is clear sign of attack against Bitcoin and all our values. And that worries me a lot.
It worked like a charm. No problem with Lightning indeed. Thanks!
