What's your tactic for when you have one of those days where your energy is just completely shot and you feel up for nothing? Having one of those days for some reason.

Chill, and rejuvenate. Listen to your mind, and body. Sometimes they need to rest.

Gentle exercise. Just get your training kit on and do something that raises the heart rate to say 100 or 120. Best is to do it outside, but the main thing is to do it. I guarantee once you start, you'll want to keep going and after you will be a new man.
Go for a run (or whatever physical movement you prefer). Even if it doesn’t 180 your day, you will feel good that you accomplished something.

Yeah going for a walk is the low hanging fruit of movement with great benefits for the mind and body. Don’t overdue it on coffee, that will make it worse. Put in a favourite album and see if that energizes you! All stuff we already know, but helps to hear it I guess!
Pray. Get down on your knees. Go somewhere by yourself. Ask God for wisdom, strength, direction and give all of your action to him in service.
Listen to your body, just chill. If you got access to a float tank ,smoke a J and go for a 2hr float. Take the 1st hour to acclimate, stretch in a boyant enviroment (totally feels better than out of water), let thoughts flow through until you try to reach a thoughtless or thoughful state of mind. Spend the last hour rejuvenating in stillness, like nothing else can do in 120mins. 😌

Explore where you’re at, why, and what the break from routines can offer you
Fulfill yourself. Put heat on a piece of beef if it'll help. Sometimes it really is that simple.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve been up all night puking and pooping. I’m going to try and sleep it off and rest. Later on I’m going to get some high grade and burn the ganja real hot.

Use the time to recharge and let your ideas settle down. Stress can deplete our energies, but it does so in an unproductive way. Let your mind get some rest so you can be productive later and without the noise of ansiety. Don't know if you are religious or something, but you can also take this to God in prayer. It humbles us to remember we cannot do everything all the time, and that we must ask for His aid too. He is the one Who can stop any storm, and what are our stressed out minds if not a storm inside of us?

Take two aspirin then grab your rosary. On the little beads you say “pura vida” and on the big beads you say “good morning” to the day as you make your way around. Then maybe Price is Right or something.

Honestly Guy, it’s okay to have one of those days and we all do. I used to force myself to power through and act like nothing was off, but in hindsight realized it’s better to just hit the reset button, go for a walk to get clarity, sleep early and get after it the next day! Good luck, you got this!

Lots of good stuff here ready. Also, I think you are the type of person who cares and takes on the burdens of others in the world and tries to fix what you perceive as injustices. That is both honorable and a heavy burden/energy sink. We need you around long term, so I’d hope we all understand there will be days where you just need to be offline for a while, focus on your own life, and get a bit of a break. We’ll be OK while you hit the reset button and look forward to you returning refreshed.

Sunlight and a walk! That will super charge anyone! Skip the sunglasses and headphones, let your brain relax as you soak up golden sun rays and enjoy nature

just give yourself some grace, take a nap or just chill. listen to your body.
Take Ayahuasca, travel into the innermost depths of the psyche to locate your ancestors, they will reveal the true source of your malaise, once identified, crywank like you mean it, but just before you're about to blast rope, switch to ragewank, apply lotion if necessary depending on the amount of rage, keep cultivating chi with each stoke, this will supercharge your chakras and as you're about climax, strip naked and shout at the top of your lungs: DOUBLE, DOUBLE TOIL AND TROUBLE; FIRE BURN AND CALDRON BUBBLE. COOL IT WITH A BABOON'S BLOOD, THEN THE CHARM IS FIRM AND GOOD. Then puke, cum, shit, piss, fart, diarrhea and blow your nose all at the same time just as a bolt of lightning lights up the night sky. Camomile tea and a footsoak to round it all off. You got this 👌
I take a break from coffee (drink lots of water & non-caffeinated tea) , feel the true tiredness inside of me, and then rest. Get out in nature; then rest again. If I choose to not listen to that low energy signal, then usually some sickness is abound. Might as well heed the tired feeling and prevent the possibility of feeling worse later.
Float tanks are one of the best life hacks.; literally nothing better of a reset. I wish they were more available and less costly to use.
I watch inspiring music and musicians, great improvisation. 💜 Maybe you can watch a documentary about a great developer.

Pick the simplest task imaginable, but still useful, and do it. Energy drinks help too
