Mostly I wanna connect and have conversations. I wanna learn a bit more about what it means to do social media in a decentralised way.
I am a mentor and writer so I also wanna share about the things I am really passionate about.
I don't really know where to start. I'd love to find and connect with people who're on a spiritual path and feel like their creative calling / purpose work is intrinsically connected to that path. If you're a recovering perfectionist / overachieving type, you'll probably resonate with my writing.

there is no rules per se.
👉 there is no active algo like the big tech social media that most people consume.
what gets push in this community are:
1. interact more with content and give decent contribution
2. likes here are more effective in that it earns you a sat. which means you earn as you post depending how people perceive the value of it. you will hear value for value often.
3. do not get dishearten or feel daunted when people talk a lot about bitcoin. you can filter the noise and curate your feed.
4. it can be overwhelming finding your way bcoz of the earlier point, so using #asknostr will get you to reach out people you want to ask question. people try their best to answer your questions.
5. #nostr is very new. in the tech world it is like an infant. therefore, it is also finding its way to the world so give it a time and familiarise yourself.
6. Mute/block is very much encourage here. ☺️

Well I say... this intro post resonates with me.
I was reflecting the other night how exactly I ended up here, & although there are a variety of factors, the one that stood out was when my Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's nearly 18 years ago.
What a long and winding path it has been, but also so brief in the grand scheme of it all; which is kind of where I’m at now, seeking to live more deliberately, more deeply. Savoring all of life’s marrow, knowing that any moment I may vanish.
There’s always been a beauty in the simplicity, but especially now more than ever.
