PRIMAL TRENDING ALGO IS SHIT. NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED. USERS NEED MORE USEFUL ALGOS TO CHOOSE FROM IN GENERAL.

Primal devs: "Babe, sorry I'm going to have to cancel our Valentine's date tonight, we all have to work late... Yeah, one of the investors publicly said my work was shit, so it looks like we are all working all weekend... I'll make it up to you, babe, promise... Babe? Hello?!"

I want a relay that tracks my eye movements and notes every tap or navigation action and has my medical records etc etc just like Facebook

GOOD THING YOU CAN USE OTHER CLIENTS AND OTHER ALGOS🫡
Ignore the metadata requests, my relay selection code still needs work. But sub 08321708 isn't returning anything after 7 seconds. image
I wish I don't have to see the same person post 500 times on my feed. I almost wanna unfollow those guys but I like them (no not you Odell!)
Following more people on here changed my experience big time. If you follow a few hundred people who are active and there is still one person showing up noticeably more, then yeah might be time for an unfollow
It's not even 'trending' it's 'notes from the users with the most amount of followers, plus some people we think you miss from bitcointwitter'. Bit I suppose that's too long to say. :)

I thought nostr was supposed to escape the algorithms Why is nostr quickly turning into other platforms? We got algorithms and censorship
Agree. The Primal Tending feed could be vastly improved to be more useful for users. For example: my GM PV note every morning should not trend. It's not that special, but it tends every day. DVM feeds / Feed marketplaces at least give users a wide variety of feeds to choose from. This is the way forward, IMO. More work needs done here to surface these feeds and their content.

You know, VC boys gonna VC gang gang
We've all implemented that stuff on the relays because clients refused to budge. We've kept the application logic in the clients, but we've moved some of the business logic to the relays, to get around the client stonewalling.
how effective it is is entirely a function of how much effort goes into curating your lists. it also depends on specifying your favorite lists, which I explained in another post. in a future version, I want to offer the ability for a new user to fork existing lists from other users, or subscribe to someone's list

Wait there's algos? See I thought there were no algos. At least for our feeds of who we follow
