Start with the ethics and you will 1000x your progress vs the economic stuff A rake has its uses, but economics is limited to surface lvl descriptions. “Getting bitcoin” is grasping the roots. Sounds like you need a philosophical shovel. It only takes “1000s” of hours of study to get bitcoin, if you are trying to dig a hole with a rake. For me Messenger is the last thing I'm trying to get rid of but all my friends and family are in there. 🤔 Also, there is no equivalent Nostr native app. 😕 For them, it needs to be user-friendly as hell and have the same features. 0xChat is getting close.

The Saylor course is a solid foundation. Lyn Alden's Broken Money is worth reading alongside. Mises.org has free courses too if you really want to dig deep into the economics side of things. If you're religious, your tradition already has a framework for this. Honest weights. Debt that compounds into bondage. The question of whose image is on the coin. It's older than Bitcoin.

New to your work Neal but looking forward to diving in. Bits, I think he's spot on with the ethics angle too. So much material out there about the how. This is the why.
