I see that you must be retarded. That is not name calling. Its diagnosis. I call Lopp a liar and evil shitcoiner which he is, see the fucking evidence. Isn't he lying in the post above? Did you watch the video with Antoine? Now to your last retarded point. Bitcoin Knots has multiple contributors.
I have half a dozen merged commits into Bitcoin Core and have been maintaining my own fork of Core (Statoshi) for 11 years. You, on the other hand, know jack shit about software development 🤷🏼‍♂️
Thank you Mr Loop for helping to spin more nodes to the network and for the inestimable boost to bitcoin Knots. You will be remembered as a Hero.

So instead of prunable op_return data you want to bloat the utxo? That’s all that is being said here. Citrea can implement this in a way that bloats the chain but would rather do it more responsibly. I really don’t see your point.

Do you see my point now? Also you didn't answer the qustion if Lopp is a digusting liar shown in the note above. image

Having contributors doesn’t mean the maintainer is running the software project securely. Op_return can be pruned. Utxo cannot. Current return size could be used for csam, but so could the utxo data itself if one was determined enough. As a thought experiment: imagine an encoding program that processes the entire on chain data set and uses that existing data to build a rule set for encoding an image. Someone else with access to the chain and an interpreter program built to do the reverse can now see an image based on the arbitrary data of the chain. Is the chain data or the interpreter responsible for the content of the image? The interpreter is just a piece of software that is totally useless without the chain data. And the chain data is completely arbitrary. At what point is an objectionable image created?

As a thought experiment: Can you stop thinking like a shitcoiner? Here are two of them - Vitalik and Lopp. I know you understood that Lopp is a disgusting liar but you don't admit it.
I thought you were bored with Luke and Matt. As the sw expert you are, could you inform us about the risks of 'vitaliking the core' to crush 'ossification'? Don't worry about technical jargon; some of us started with the 8080.
And the answer is "no" but that doesn't jive with the conspiracy theories perpetuated by Mechanic, so he conveniently ignored that reality.
kinda reeks of desperation tbh. ie, on his blog Lopp explains in detail why Knots doesn't inherit Cores security. but Kratter just says "nuh-uh." He doesn't have the bonafides to criticize Lopp, and his audience are mostly lemmings.
So it's you? Why do you want to centralise Bitcoin and make it unaffordable for plebs to run nodes? Why do you want to turn the blockchain into a data hosting service? You know that ethereum etc. already exists? Bitcoin cash blockchain is already full of childporn, why don't you host your perverted shit there instead? You don't have to kill Bitcoin with childporn you can use ethereum or whatever else for hosting instead, why don't you do that?
Some of us actually have our own lives outside of nostr/twitter I don't need kratter to tell me that hosting child porn or spam on the blockchain is bad. I can already understand that it's an attack against Bitcoin/against node runners
This video is a perfect example of those who can’t do teach. But this university professor doesn’t seem effective at teaching and therefore should teach gym clas
beyond your responsible single point view, there are wide unresponsible hidden risks of an orchestrated movement like "vitaliking the core to crush ossification". BTC is not Bones To Crush.
If $2000 deposit in your cash app what will you use it for be honest

Lopp with some others are making a "quantum resistant btc" and they are saying that they will save btc 😂😂😂. The wrapped bitcoin they will use in order to do that is a joke if you understand the mechanics of the project. I think they made a presentation on it at the btc conference this year. The marketing stunt they made is ridiculous. In a podcast where a cryptographer who works for Lopp(who works for securit at big banks ) explained why we need quantum resistant btc in the most mentally retarded way. He also referred to Lopp as a true cyberpunk 😂😂 More bad actors are appearing every day. I think this would make a great topic for a video, thank you Matt.
OK watching. here's the thing about vids. i can read at least 2-4 times faster than a video so i tend to see them as an inefficient use of time. i also like to give take people on their word until... well that part is obvious. being wrong about someobe is OK as long as you accept being wrong. thanks for taking the time to point me at this video without prejudice or calling me a retard for taking the guy at face value. 🤙 this shit is dark AF. thanks for being a good friend.

I view running the insecurely maintained and single point of failure knots software as a greater risk to the system than continuing to run core. That said I don’t generally upgrade my nodes with any haste because I’m lazy so all I can say is at this point I will eventually run 30 over anything Luke jr has a hand in.

I’ve been grossed out by Luke from the beginning. His behavior and influence is why I initially distrusted the system. The dude is a statist religious freak. His influence over knots is far too great for my taste. The cool thing is I can run whatever node software I want.

And I have been grossed out by some of the Core devs and their actions.
But Core will confirm, miners will mine, and your knots will still have the tx sync'd. Its an exercise in futility. So long as both versions use the same chain, it makes no difference.
