Primal is the only client that really works.
I think you're all retarded.

Can't switching npubs on desktop is bit turnoff but yeah, best Nostr client.
I respect Primal. But if it’s true, it’s serious.
No official #Nostr app this is insane 😜
No hablan de su funcionamiento sino de su censura
You aren't, but saying "the only" is it.
Is it the only client you've ever used? Wisp and amethyst are both working fantastic.
Ditto works great too.
I think there is something changed about Damus . Not so many people broadcast from there
I've used basically every single client under the sun.
Amethyst is great, still lots of janky parts that have been ignored for years at this point.
Well ... That's just amethyst trying to be the everything client. What are your beefs with wisp or ditto?
Yea especially the on chain zaps

websockets in the browser mostly
using ditto right now
Do you think websockets in browsers are inefficient or something? I'm trying to understand. We want solutions right?
Ironically primal is falling apart at the seams while outbox clients take off
nostr

On a separate note, anyone out there messing with AMMs on ecash?
Calle must be looking for that LTS grant top up 😂
Probably #nostr is the first example of free market, and if that happens it will be a sign many should take a not of.
It's kind of gay though...
lol. Okay
Never used it. But looks like fantastic UX 😬
Primal's caching server is a websocket server
It does sorta.
If you want no one but crypto bro's or devs.
Meanwhile in the real world we wait for mere mortals to come and see it's potential, without this clique of the former condescending on newcomers.
Yakihonne Wisp and Amethyst are better.
No cashing service, NIP17 support, outbox model. And it works well enough for me.
Dumb take
can't argue
1 websocket
This is not a client issue, I have seen these shitty json notes pop up on every nostr client I have installed, including Primal.
I think someone vibeslopped a way to abuse nostr relays to control a botnet or something and didn’t care about causing spam with json stringfied notes.
you're a child
And we're back to disagreement. Dang it was fun while it lasted.
This is not a client issue.
#asknostr looks like somebody is spamming kind:1 events with json stringfied in the body, are relay operators unaware of this?

I don't think you knew that before mister smartypants
Anyway you can configure any client to do this. But then it's not decentralized.
what are you talking about?

@npub1n0st...k6h0 and @Jumble are great too.
I like jumble a lot actually
nostur is my secondary daily driver on ios (after primal)
Define "work"
Name calling is childish. 😂 Please mute me to cry into the void. 🙄
ohhhh good one
Yeah I seen JSON posts too for something that looks like a motion detector "room name" stuff.
Don't like it don't use it, build something better.

They're kind of limited in number in browsers unlike apps
Are they?
Huh? That's such a weird thing to say. Lots of the npubs in everyone's feeds aren't using Primal....
It doesn't for me. I created an npub in it, saved it elsewhere, and reinstalled primal multiple times for various reasons, but after the initial reinstall I've never been able to publish from it, only lurk. But that same npub does seem to work fine everywhere else.
From Android context I've tried to like Primal but I can't. Amethyst is just buttery in every visible way.
Yeah, normally to a couple of hundred but limited to 10-30 per domain - that makes downloading notes, basic profile info and reactions per page load look seemless is really hard work, as I've learned in recent months
of course you'll say that
I remember this guy was making fun of my primal LN address ages ago.

It is
Great callout! It works really well, I was able to send $100 to a family in Palestine I’ve been following for 3 years within minutes but could have done it private & slower if needed.
I used @YakiHonne as my daily driver for non-video nostr content and it’s great. They’re off in Asia doing their thing and it works.
But a bigger point is we need to think of nostr as a social protocol and not a Twitter replacement.
absolute agreement
ios is retarded man
there are better ways that preserve your and your family members privacy. but seriously, thats fucking awesome!!
