Introducing: Wisp - A Nostr client that just works Proud to announce that Wisp has entered early access beta, exclusively on @Zapstore The goal of Wisp is to be fast, simple and most importantly - it should just work. It uses relays intelligently, so you don't have to. I designed it to be my daily driver and to make nostr more fun than frustrating. Some core features to call out: - beautiful, minimal, lightning fast UX - built in nwc wallet - zap sounds and animations - gif keyboard - inbox/outbox model - so much more! Download it today from zapstore here: or view the source code here:

Installed 0.1.0 via obtainium. Now, when upgrading via zapstore, I get conflict image . I thought it was signed with the same keys.
Just installed it and using it right now. works out-of-the-box. Also looks good. I have one minor issue: I tried to connect my primal wallet through NWC and it times out (10000 ms). And as I'm writing this, I just realized that in dark mode the cursor in the text field is invisible, probably because it's black?
I switched over to Zapstore version. You've got favorite relays, anon zaps, and outbox. That's already half of my "perfect app" wishlist, so you earned some permanent real estate. I know you said its a hobby project but I hope you decide to make it absolutely great. πŸ˜…
Well... - accessing restricted relays & writing protected notes to single relays - voice notes - kind:20s & highlights - client tags It would be neat to have something unique on profiles, too, like a list of a person's public nip29 group chats & nip89 to clients for that, or something simpler like displaying social bookmarks.
User attention is king. You do *not* decide to redraw the app's screen on your own, after the user, say, puts the phone in the pocket, to later pick it back. Only do that if Android is to blame. Amethyst is the GOAT in that regard.

oh graphene does not have that. no wonder I'm missing it
Another one: no NWC, no zaps? Not everyone a NWC enjoyer. Please make it possible to zap without it, like Amethyst. Ty, sir!
I've noticed something: I zapped someone inside wisp, it showed my zap, the zap button was 'flashing' and after a while I got a message 'zap failed'. I then went to the wallet section and hit 'connect', got the same result as yesterday (10000ms timeout). Now the odd thing: another client also showed my zap! Then I checked my primal wallet (which I use for NWC), and the zap went through!? Just wanted to let you know.
Please update to the latest Zapstore 1.0.0 If it doesnt show up: Link in zapstore bio or from zapstore.dev

Normies can get so confused. Zaps themselves are quantifiable, you got 3 zaps of 10 sats each, the currency of which is bitcoin, figure that out. For many normies it's not even clear if ⚑100 means the note got 100 zaps, the value of each one requiring further inspection, or if the note got 1 zap worth 100 whatevers.

I hope it's not anything like those distributed note vending machine whatchamacallits, because those suck balls. They are horrible. I want a way to subscribe to keyword searches. I want a way to filter people's manual posts out from all of their random boosts. I want to be able to sort my feed by engagement. I want to be able to randomize unseen posts from the last 24 hours. If Nostr isn't going to have a centralized algorithm telling me what content to consume, then my client better give me good tools like that, because browsing global, following hashtags, or following dozens of randos just doesn't cut it.
#7 image Nostr’s Value4Value (V4V) model is all about plebs directly rewarding creators for the value they receive, no middlemen fees, no ads, just pure community-driven support using sats via the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
