bip110 is unnecessary and reckless fortunately bitcoin is incredibly difficult to change by default so the lynch mob trying to fork bitcoin will fail

Yes but core isn't helping things
because for mechanic and luke its not about stopping spam, its about ego and control and they riled up a mob of people that dont realize they are being used to do their bidding
The goal is not to stop the spam but reduce it. This is very clear from the beginning Why would you misguide your followers unless you are compromised in some way?
"Lynch mob trying to fork bitcoin will fail" It's misleading, not what BIP110 is about. We should have the right to decide what get stored on our devices.
You appear to be reacting to their perceived ego rather than the merits of the BIP and the issue of core being hostile to hodlers
If you are Odell simp, then you may want to see this screenshot. Odell doesn't know the actual motive behind BIP110 and he is intentionally spreading lies to misguide his followers. I wouldn't be surprised if Odell reputation goes down significantly upon successful activation of BIP110. image
What happens if illegal content is stored? Could it not trigger something that essentially makes Bitcoin illegal. If the goal is to make bitcoin money shouldn’t we protect against bad actors? Or is it possible to create a filter to prevent illegal content to be stored. New guy with minimal understanding apologies if this is a dumb question.
Would be great if you could cover the whole Bip110 on one of your shows. Cheers
Ocean, the only mining pool that lets individuals mine their own templates? Yeah, fucking ass holes.
the goal of bip110 is to kill bitvm-dependent scaling methods and also reduce statechains to mere lightning parking lots, thereby destroying all scaling efforts that don't involve lightning. it's the lightning monopoly BIP. it has nothing to do with "spam." luke has a habit of destroying things that don't belong to him and forcing others to only play with toys his way. see what he did to coiledcoin and how many times he tried to sneak blacklists into bitcoin node software.
BULLSHIT, THEYRE GIVING REASONABLE ARGUEMENTS. YOU SEEM TO HAVE NONE OTHER THAN 'BIP110 BAD'

OCEAN, one of the only pools allowing miners to build their own block templates (regardless of their spam stance btw) and developed DATUM after Sv2 stalled and never got adopted by the corporate pools? That OCEAN?
110 won’t stop inscriptions though, right? It’s just about op return? Genuine question
BIP110 doesn't fix/stop inscriptions. It only reduces it. And it only fixes the contiguous data issue in op_return so, CSAM never happens (through contiguous data). CSAM can always happen through non contiguous data but that should never create risk for noderunners.

Tough continuing to be a real one but it is needed 🫡
Becuase Bitcoin has no government. It is a consensus ledger. You are either in or out. No gray in the middle, and no opinion. There is nothing to vote. But, you can fork and create another different consensus if you don't like it. You know what they say: fork your mother if you want fork.

Do you have a source for that claim? Can you elaborate?
Didn't Luke help save bitcoin more than once in the past. Just something I heard. I don't know.

Yeah, for decentralization and scaling reasons. Also, if you love Rust so much why didn't you wrap your note with a 500kb of trait declarations. 😜
What? Only 500 nodes were running Segwit at the peak of USAF. For months almost no hashrate was signaling. 10x more nodes are signaling now barely 2 weeks after the release of a stable client.
this entire video is smaller than the bitcoin whitepaper PDF that luke dashjr inserted into the blockchain in 2013, using a method that would have complied with bip110. it might not play on a crapple device.
What lies is he parroting? Your a delusional 🤡 Go lose some more of your bitcoin to a “hack”
Dorsey invested in OCEAN OCEAN pays employees reasonable (not massive) salaries - I would make more working elsewhere. None of this is relevant to the context of RDTS at all (Opposites are hard??)

Shitcoiners are worried... Wanna see them bleed!!! :+]><
I think you should continue to wear a full gas mask to bitcoin conferences to protect yourself from the flu

Come on bro, you can't send a google search result as a receipt
Bip110 is better-than-thows spewing group think for thought capture. I dislike Luke's milking of the community with his prior "boating accidents" and "failures in GPG encryption". The guy tax washed his sats through a security event & self funded through GoFundLuke. Nice for him, screw govs, etc, but he attracted stray donations adjacent to his scam that reduced the holdings of good stackers—that makes him a scammer.
Bitcoin is valuable because it's black market money. Not because the governments allow us to use it. Ideally they don't want you to own anything that cant be controlled easily by them and force their debasement on you and surveil you. They control the law and we will never out manoeuvre them. They can just make something up to make it illegal. If bitcoin can be changed easily (it does very little to combat spam as far as I've read) it has no value as it will be coopted
I dunno I use lightning on the regular and it's pretty great. All these network effects. Everyone knows about it. Fixed supply number go up. Fucking great technology. I'm in control of my own money and no one can stop me A good buzz around new l2s ark bark spark and different protocols getting built out such as payjoin. Never been easier to self custody. I'm happy where I am. Being a profitable human and saving in hard money. Bitcoin makes me optimistic for the future.
NONE OF THEM WILL DEBATE THE FACTS, THERE IS ZERO LOGIC. WHICH TO ME SAYS THEYRE EITHER PARASITES WITH SOMETHING TO GAIN, OR PAID SHILLS / BOTS. IT MAKES NO SENSE
That is completely false. V30 is highest, then v28, then v29.2, finally v29. If you add up 29 and 29.2(which wouldnt make sense, but you could), it takes 2nd, but still it would only be 15.2%. v30 is about 15.43%. mostly people 'waiting to see'...nothing. And that's after this shit show with knots. And only a few months, where 29 was also released 6 months earlier. By April 2026, it will likely be even higher.

Already in development, but thanks for the encouragement.
IS IT? NOT WHAT I'M SEEING. HAH NOTHING? KNOTS IS 25% AND GROWING... THE SHIT SHOW IS WITH V30 AND ITS WALLET DELETION BUG. WAKE UP image
Wait, your chart is a)not from an unbiased source, and b) doesn't appear to match up with the 2 versions shown at the bottom. That shows v30 as the largest st 16,000, yet the chart shows more. What's going on here?
YOU SAID NOTHING HAS HAPPENED, BUT IT IS HAPPENING... KNOTS IS GROWING AND CORE WAS DELETING WALLETS. NOT GOING TO SIT HERE DOING YOUR OWN RESEARCH FOR YOU. THE TREND IS CLEAR, IGNORE IT AT YOUR OWN PERIL
That was a bug. A rare one, and fixed. I'm talking about the size limit, pedos, child porn or whatever else you guys are claiming was going to happen. But you already knew that, huh? I don't use an legacy core wallet that doesn't have a backup, lol. No peril no worries. I didn't say knots wasn't growing. I didn't even say don't use knots. You are a fucking psycho, clearly.
I REFUTED YOUR TWO STATEMENTS WITH TWO SOURCES, YOU SAID V30 HAD THE MOST NODES AND THAT "NOTHING HAPPENED" WITH KNOTS ?
So, what I am seeing on my own node is basically confirmed by these stats: only 15% of nodes are V30. Still running 29 (but certainly not Knots) myself and I guess I'll continue to do so until I see a coherent explanation on why I should upgrade to 30.
You gave one chart from the knots creator that appeared to have chart numbers not matching the node counts below. And you gave another chart that showed nothing at all. Just knots and core basically with no versions.
Only 15% is the largest version currently. That's all I said. I could care less if people run core .21, 24, v29 or v30 or run knots. Much like lightning, the more implementations the better. Choice is always better. But the sky isn't falling in any way after v30 was released. It's just BS to say it has.
A LEAK IN THE BOAT DOESNT MEAN THE BOAT IS SINKING YET EITHER... IF YOU WANT ALL THIS BULLSHIT BEING STORED ON NODES THEN GO SHITCOIN ALREADY
