The price dropped because core 30 released and a lot of people just dumped everything they had out of fear that the Bitcoin blockchain will get filled up with child porn and malware as the core 30 update allows people to host child porn on the blockchain.

Went to buy on Strike but the spread was too high. Ended up using Cashapp for this one, but super impressed that you’re here updating on nostr and I’m sure working hard to keep things going. That kind of commitment and transparency will keep me a Strike customer!

entire Bitcoin market is a mess. Robinhood and Coinbase are down. two of our LPs behind the scenes have gone down completely.
Strike is online and functioning. Spreads are all over the place across the entire market. I can’t find anything tight, but we are on it. Have been able to improve things in the last 30 minutes or so and still working on it. Dead bodies everywhere out here in the space 🤣

Just as an anecdotal comment here, I made two smash buys during the dip, one filled BELOW the price quote in the app, and the other was a limit buy at around 106 that filled .12c above target.
Both made during peak volatility hysteria.
Small dip fragility across the board. How do you see mitigating counterparty risk long term to keep uptime consistent?

But BTC/USD, $MSTR and $IBIT are trading around the claims that:
- $trategy got 671,268 BTC at Coinbase
- $IBIT got ₿ 772,584 BTC at Coinbase
- The black box Coinbase haven't been hacked, even though Coinbase went down two times in ~8 days in October (when Amazon Web Services broke 1/3 of the internet)
