No there isnt. Nostr has a spam problem and will only get worse as more people join. One solution is to require profiles to pay 3 Satoshi in order to follow others and be able to interact with that profile. That will be a basic defense against scammers and bots. Allowing anyone to follow and interact with profiles by just clicking on the follow button enables bots and scammers to easily spam out profiles.

First of all you need an android to fully experience nostr. Or use damus on ios and not primal. On amethyst for android you can block/mute any account or you can mute words.

Using primal? You could create a saves search excluding words. Not a perfect solution.

Most nostr clients let you mute words/phrases. Try adding buzzbot and zap raffle to your mute list. Some clients also support kind filtering (kind:1 for just notes)

Everything free eventually is trashed. Filter is making people zap to follow and/or post. Even trivial amounts would eliminate the vast majority of spam

I have seen maybe 1 or 2 and the rest is others complaining about it, similar to the replybot, Nostur doesn’t show that unless you follow people who do that and then the solution is Unfollow. Do you have a specific post I can take a look at? Maybe something slipped past the filter

I do it manually. Sometimes they are duplicate accounts with the exact same latest posts. It makes them easy to recognize.

Actually there are a lot more bots on nostr protocols than on 𝕏 . So 𝕏 is more organic . Here people need to be extra cautions with interactions cause there are probably a lot of criminals hiding behind their npub identity try to sell you some stuff and if you Go deeper there also some adult content walking around freely . So be careful with your interactions cause we never know who behind those Npub key 🔑

Because if a user choose an app that is not supported anymore (for any reason), it will be a pain for him to change to another (not the same UX/relay connection). Nostr have really interesting side but coming with side effect, and it is on theses points that we have to be careful, if we don't want to loose the user that have ever try to come to nostr. To get them come here, they are multiple ways, it is just marketing. But to keep them using it, it is much more complex. I also think improving the way to "pin" good content is very important. There is a lot of noise on nostr and sometimes even for me it is hard to find again an interesting note i've seen some week ago. I think the "reads" in primal is an interesting feature, and a kind of "channels" you see on discord could be fine to categorise notes, or more use of pinned hashtag you like in a menu to classify notes easily. Without that it is very hard to find interesting subject inside the noise. The more it is simple for user to get what they want, the more it will be used. Your note is very interesting and should be pinned, because in some weeksn it will probably be lost in the noise. I also have other #nostrIdea like a way to edit a note "one remplacing the other" when they are 2 notes posted. Because it is annoying to be unable to edit what we have post even a delete/new post feature. It is also a basic feature everywhere else. I am not blaming any app coders but some improvement have to be done on this point too. Thanks you for this note.

Your nostr experience will very much depend on the relays and clients you're using Ross. If you see these bots, either you're using bad relays or your client sucks. or both.
